Transition for Change 2012
Unity in Diversity International Conference

The theme of transition for change is very timely. As our global community is forced to reconsider its perspective on human relations, resource management, ecological responsibility and financial accountability, we are also facing the prospect of inevitable changes as a result of the systemic failure of world institutions in securing human dignity, rights, and ecological sustainability. Furthermore, due to global economical challenges, we are forced to step backward from the vision of protection of the dignity of humanity and biodiversity of ecology. Australia as a nation is not immune from these drastic developments that will either throw nations into the chaos of unpredictable changes or result in further disadvantaging less able people of the world such as refugees and third world countries.

 

The conference will invite international experts and leaders to promote and engage in discussions about transition for change as a reality of the immediate future with the view that if communities prepare for change and conscious acceptance of positive direction for change, the world will become a better place for all.
